Dr. Julia went to Haiti on a medical mission trip, where she was honored to serve hundreds of children and adults who have no other access to health care. You will be in great hands with her!
Dr. Julia will review your intake forms and talk to you about any questions she might have about what brought you in, your lifestyle, and any significant history. Then you will have a thorough, hands-on evaluation to determine the best course of action and the need for any additional testing, such as x-rays. In emergent situations, you may receive your first treatment on the first day.
We call your second visit the "Report of Findings". We feel it is very important for you to know what we have found, what we recommend, and most importantly, why we make the recommendations we do. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about treatment options. We will explain what treatments will cost and review payment options. We believe well-informed patients make the best decisions about their health!
Although most insurance companies offer some type of coverage for chiropractic care, please know that they are not in the business of what is best for you. We offer excellent care at reasonable prices. Most of our patients pay for their care out of pocket, thus insuring that their care is decided upon between them and their doctor - not a third party. We will always provide a detailed receipt that patients can submit to their insurance carrier or HSA for reimbursement. There are some cases when we might accept assignment for payment, such as auto accident cases or federal Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
